Aglaia mou, I am going to take off on this for our Thanksgiving menu (we have 4 vegetarians at the table), using small squash similar to delicata and filling them with a mixture of wild rice, pecans instead of walnuts, and dried cranberries instead of raisins–all to keep it to the Native American ideal.
